COVID-19: Business update

2020 has been a challenging year due to the pandemic for people and businesses alike. Despite this, Captec throughout the year has adapted to ensure group business continuity to provide our customers spanning a wide range of industries, including medical, continue to have a supplier they can continue to depend on.

Our staff welfare is our priority, and we currently have several COVID-19 precautions in-line with government guidelines to ensure the safety of our staff, whilst providing business continuity. Where possible, our team works remotely with established tools, processes and practices. When this isn’t feasible, such in areas such as manufacturing, we have made risk assessments to adapt working practices and introduce new safety measures.

Onsite measures that have been put in place include installing contactless sanitisers, PPE, ensuring 2-metre distancing, adding a one-way walking system, face to face meetings are minimised in suitable open well-ventilated areas, and production work surfaces are cleaned between uses.

It is uncertain how long the government guidelines and COVID-19 restrictions will last, but rest assured, we are doing everything we can to continue to support your business.
